ORDERING OPTIONS You can choose from the following packages when ordering your plans: Study Set Study sets are purchased to view the selected house plan in more detail. They include the four elevations (front, rear and both sides) and floor plans only. Since the home plans are not to scale, you cannot build from a study set, and you will need to purchase final prints prior to construction to avoid copyright infringement. The cost of the Study Set is credited towards your purchase if you choose to order a complete set(s) or reproducible of the SAME house plan within 6 months. You CANNOT credit the study set price against the purchase of a different home plan order. Bid Set A bid set is one complete set of house plans printed on bond paper and stamped "not for construction." It is a complete set that builders can use to quote the building cost of a home, but cannot legally build from. You can not make, or order additional sets from a bid set order. 5-Set Construction Package A 5-set order includes 5 complete sets of plans printed on bond paper and stamped with our Copyright information stamp. This set of house plans can be used to legally build the home ONE TIME ONLY. 8-Set Construction Package An 8-set order includes 8 complete sets of plans printed on bond paper and stamped with our Copyright information stamp. This set of house plans can be used to legally build the home ONE TIME ONLY. Reproducible A reproducible is one set of house plans printed on a transparent paper that is erasable with an electric eraser. It is used for making minor changes such as moving window, etc. With the reproducible package, you receive a ONE-TIME build copyright release that allows you to make as many copies of the house plan as you like without infringing on copyright laws as long as the home is only built one time. The original designer retains ownership of the original copyright as well as any derivatives of the original house plan. CAD file A CAD file contains all of the information of one set but in an electronic .dxf or .dwg format. The CAD file is used to make major modifications or to bring a house plan up to local codes. With the CAD package, you receive a ONE-TIME build copyright release that allows you to make as many copies of the house plan as you like without infringing on copyright laws as long as the home is only built ONE time. The original designer retains ownership of the original copyright as well as any derivatives of the original house plan.
